On Wednesday, April 23rd at 7PM, at the Covington Library, 27100 164th Ave SE, Covington, WA 98042, I’ll be bringing three Seattle poets for a Poetry Coffeehouse.

Judith Roche, Peter Munro and Amber Nelson will be joining me and open mic readers. It would be great to see you there. Thanks to the Maple Valley Library Guild and the King County Library System for making this possible.

Peter Munro

Peter Munro is a fisheries scientist who works in the Bering Sea, the Aleutian Islands, the Gulf of Alaska, and Seattle. He is also the founder and host of Easy Speak Wedgwood, a monthly open mic at the Wedgwood Ale House.

Amber Nelson

Amber Nelson

Amber Nelson is the co-founder and poetry editor for alice blue review, as well as the editor of alice blue books. She’s the author of several chapbooks: This Ride is in Double Exposure (H-ngm-n), Diary of When Being With Friends Feels Like Watching TV (Slash Pine), Your Trouble is Ballooning (Publishing Genius), and Dutch Baby Combo (forthcoming from Dancing Girl). Her first full length book, In Anima: Urgency, is forthcoming from Coconut Books.

Paul Nelson founded SPLAB in Seattle and the Cascadia Poetry Festival.
