I’m delighted to again participate in the annual Rainier Beach Arts & Crafts Market on December 2, 2023, from 10AM – 3 PM. The address is 6038 S Pilgrim St., in Seattle, in Upper Rainier Beach off Waters. (The Metro’s 7 Prentice bus goes right by.) I relate to my introvert side when I sit at a desk waiting for people to come up and ask me about my books or community work via the Cascadia Poetics Lab.
Besides my presence, and my books and chapbooks, I have to tell you that there is some CRAZY GOOD art and craft work at this event and here are the participating artists:
- Jon Ault – Wood bowls
- Brenetta Ward – quilts, upcycled denim jackets, Artist Trading Quilts and mixed media
- Debra Harris-Branham – Mixed media art
- Annya Uslontseva – clay artwork: garden sculptures, ornaments & functional pieces
- Joyce Greenberg – Ceramic sculpture: dragons, salt bowls

Good luck with all that, Paul! I”ve had a rough time mixing books with crafts. But then, well, where I live…. eh.
Good PR if nothing else. Also, good people to be around
