I am delighted to be part of the Ellensburg Poetry Prowl, April 7, 2018, in downtown Goatburg. (Does anyone call it that anymore?) A tribute to Langston Hughes, there are three days of events, but my participation is featured:

4-4:45pm:

•Gallery One, 408 N Pearl (Ceramic Studio). The 56 Days of August: Poetry Postcards as a Poetic Form, panel discussion exploring epistolary poetry, featuring J.I. Kleinberg, Eugenia Hepworth Petty, & Paul Nelson.

7-7:45pm:

•Dark Moon Craft Beer, 420 N Pearl. Fistful of Words––poems loaded with confession, history, and cadence, featuring Rod Nelson, Connor Simons, & Paul Nelson. Adult content. Age 21.  Minors allowed upstairs in the 420 Loft.

A list of the featured readers is here: https://www.inlandpoetry.com/2018-poets

Of course postcard poetry is one of my life’s great joys, and Eugenia and Judy are two of the most brilliant practitioners I know, both tremendously original in their approach. I am delighted to be part of this panel and part of this exciting event and my gratitude goes out to the organizer, Joanna Thomas.
