Along with three of the editors of Winter in America (Again, I’ll be facilitating a workshop for the Arizona State Poetry Society on August 9 at 12N MST and PDT. (Confusing, I know. 12PDT.) I am delighted to be presenting material from the anthology with Katie Sarah Zale, Roxi Power and allia abdullah-matta. We had an awesome time together on our town of Lopez Island, Chimacum and Columbia City and we will carry that camaraderie into this event. How does one write about the current political situation without resorting to rhetoric and/or invective? Good question. The workshop should be amazing. Thanks for your interest.

I’m a little confused about time- flier says 12 MST (mountain time) and blog says 12 PST (pacific)- please clarify! I just signed up and am excited to attend!
Arizona does not recognize Daylight Savings Time. So, PDT = AZ MST and LSMFT for the FBI, CIA and members of AFSCME.
