I’m delighted to read poems again with the backing of the Jim O’Halloran Quartet, Saturday, August 17, 2024, 7pm at Bradner Gardens. The gardens are at 1730 Bradner Place South in the Mount Baker Neighborhood. The quartet Jim has assembled to back his flute playing will be Jacques Willis on vibes, Dean Schmidt on bass and D’Vonne Lewis on drums. I plan to read some poems about Mapes Creek and perhaps a postcard poem or two. This is such a quintessentially Seattle event, always being in the summer, almost always with excellent weather, in a gorgeous garden that people love, with stunning setting skies to the west. I hope you’ll come by.
Alo-HA Paul et al…sounds like a wunderbar way to spend a beautiful seattle evening…blessings for the total event….are you perhaps zooming or filming for those of us not able to partake of the live event?? StanleydelGozo Deming NM
