I’m delighted to be going back to Cumberland, BC, to participate in the rain shadow poetry festival. This is August 22-24, 2025, and is based on the work Adelia MacWilliam did in that part of the province for the last 8 years or so with Matthew Law as one of the main organizers this time. I have been asked to give the last reading at the event and will facilitate what looks like a fascinating panel:

If you have ever considered visiting Canada for poetry, there are few events that can match this one in depth of content. That I, as a USAmerican, get to experience a functioning democracy again is a bonus.
