Projective Ecology is both extension of Projective Verse & branch of Spiritual Ecology. Practitioners employ the projective approach to poetry composition while fully immersed in the prehension of living things in the natural world, including the world itself. It has as its foundation spontaneity & particularism & is a stance toward poem-making which does not seek to describe but enact. An example poem by Michael McClure:
