APPF13 Update

APPFAs of this writing there are 424 participants for the 13th August POetry POstcard Fest. Registration for 2019 ended July 18 and has BEGUN for APPF14. It will end July 4, 2020, earlier than in past years!

So far there are participants from: Alabama, Alberta, Arizona, Arkansas, Australia, British Columbia, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Germany, Hong Kong, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, The Netherlands, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, New Zealand, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Scotland, Singapore, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, the U.K., Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and other places. Did I miss your state or country? Please add in the comments.

As you may know, once you get your list, you are free to start writing postcards to folks who are below you on the list, then go to the top of your list of 32. Please write 31 cards and get them in the mail by August 31. I will get the first lists out on July 4 and I am grateful to the response to this project which I love more every year.

    You left off Georgia, the state from which I write. I hadn’t thought of it before, but I can see how people are going to sign up thinking they are in this year’s fest and will actually be in next year’s.

    Thanks for the updates! I relied on an Excel sort function by state, so those who did not fill in the two letter state abbreviation were left off.

    So am I reading the message correctly that the timeline is that registration for #13 (2019) ends at midnight on the 18th and then registration for #14 (for August 2020) begins at 12:01 am on the 19th?
