I’m delighted to be headed to Spokane for the Carbonation Press third anniversary party Oct 17, 2026. Greg Bem has published two of my books and two anthologies I have co-edited. The new book is The Singing Bullets of Soft Secession: & Other DaySongs, a collection of 5 long poems each written in one day writing rituals.

There is not enough exchange between Spokane and Seattle and I hope to see friends who don’t make it to Seattle as much as I’d like. I think Greg Bem works harder at promoting poetry and poets than any person I have ever known and this is in addition to holding down a full time job as a librarian and traveling all over the world.

Carbonation is a remarkable project and I encourage you to check them out.
